오늘의 예전 (Liturgy)
예배로의 부름
이번 주 우리는 대림절 세 번째 촛불,
구주를 기다리며 기쁨(JOY)을 기억하게 하는 촛불을 밝힙니다.
우리가 말하는 기쁨은 억지로 만들어 내거나
겉으로 꾸며내는 감정이 아닙니다.
이 기쁨은 우리에게 가까이 오시는 하나님,
있는 모습 그대로의 우리를 맞아 주시고
단순하고 정직한 경이로움으로 우리의 왕을 맞이하도록 초대하시는
그 하나님으로부터 옵니다.
이 기쁨을 마음에 품고,
이제 예배로의 부르심을 함께 듣겠습니다.
오라, 밤 가운데서도 빛을 비추시며
그 임재로 온 땅을 기쁨으로 채우시는 주님을 예배하자.
주님은 자신의 백성을 잊지 않으셨으니,
우리는 그분 앞에서 기쁨으로 즐거워한다.
주의 인자하심은 영원하며,
우리의 마음과 우리의 목소리로 그 이름을 찬양하리라.
오라, 주님께 경배하자.
오실 왕 되신 주님을 향하여 기쁨으로 노래하라.
고백/확신
교회 여러분, 예배를 이어가며 이 사실을 기억합시다.
예수님은 우리를 흔들림 없이 붙들어 주는 기쁨으로,
우리를 덮어 주는 인내로,
우리가 말없이 품고 있는 모든 싸움까지도 안아 주기에 충분히 넓은
열린 팔로 우리를 맞이하십니다.
그분의 친절하심은 정직할 수 있는 자리를 마련해 주시기에,
우리는 두려움을 숨기거나
지금보다 더 잘 지내는 척할 필요가 없습니다.
그분의 임재 안에서
겸손한 자는 환영받고,
상한 자는 가까이 안기며,
지친 자는 긍휼로 맞이함을 받습니다.
오늘 우리가 주님께 가까이 나아갈 때,
그분의 기쁨이 우리의 온 마음을 가지고
담대히 나아갈 용기를 주시기를 바랍니다.
이제 함께 기도에 참여해 주십시오.
아버지 하나님, 주님은 우리를 보시는 하나님이십니다.
주님은 우리가 홀로 삶을 감당하려 애썼던 자리들을 아시며,
비교로 인해 평안을 빼앗기고
애씀으로 말미암아 기쁨이 깨어졌던 순간들을 아십니다.
주님, 긍휼히 여겨 주옵소서.
주님의 선하심을 잊어버리고
주님 아닌 모든 것에서 기쁨을 찾으려 했던 순간들 가운데서,
우리를 다시 주님의 마음으로 이끌어 주옵소서.
말없이 치러 온 싸움들 가운데서,
차마 말하지 못한 두려움들 속에서,
작아지고 보이지 않는 존재가 된 것처럼 느끼는 그 자리에서,
주님의 친절하심으로 우리를 만나 주옵소서.
예수님, 주님은 우리를 밀어내지 않으시고
오히려 우리를 가까이 이끄시는 분이십니다.
겸손한 자는 주님 안에서 거할 처소를 발견하고,
간절한 자는 긍휼을 얻으며,
지친 자는 안식을 누립니다.
하나님께 감사드립니다!
십자가 위에서 주님은 우리의 모든 짐을 지셨고,
빈 무덤에서 주님은 모든 사슬을 끊으셨습니다.
그리고 성령으로 말미암아
세상이 건드릴 수 없고
어둠이 결코 빼앗을 수 없는 기쁨으로
우리를 충만케 하십니다.
아버지의 사랑으로 우리는 받아들여졌고,
아들의 희생으로 우리는 용서받았으며,
성령의 선물로 우리는 하나님 나라의 기쁨 가운데 살아갑니다.
하나님께 감사드립니다! 아멘.

Call to Worship
This week we light the third Advent candle, the candle that reminds us of JOY as we wait for our Savior.
Our joy isn’t something we force or pretend. It comes from the God who draws near to us, the God who welcomes us just as we are and invites us to receive our King with simple, honest wonder.
With that joy in our hearts, let’s hear this call to worship:
Come and worship the Lord, whose light shines in the night
and whose presence fills the earth with joy.
He has not forgotten His people, and so we rejoice before Him.
His mercy endures forever.
Our hearts and voices will praise His name.
Come, let us adore Him.

Confession/Assurance
Church, as we continue in worship, remember this: Jesus welcomes us with a joy that steadies us,a patience that covers us, with open arms that are wide enough to embrace every silent struggle that we carry.
His kindness makes room for honesty, so we don’t need to hide our fears or pretend we’re doing better than we are. In His presence, the humble are welcomed, the hurting are held close, and the weary are met with mercy. As we draw near today, may His joy give us courage to bring Him our whole hearts.
Please join me in this prayer.
Father, You are the God who sees us.
You know the places where we’ve tried
to carry life on our own,
where comparisons have stolen our peace
and striving has shattered our joy.
Have mercy, Lord.
For the moments we forget Your goodness
and try to find joy in everything but You.
Draw us back to Your heart.
for the quiet battles,
the unspoken fears,
the places where we feel small or unseen.
Meet us with Your kindness.
Jesus, You never push us away—You draw us close.
The humble find a home in You.
The desperate find mercy,
and the weary find rest.
Thanks be to God!
On the cross, You carried every burden.
At the empty tomb, You broke every chain.
And by Your Spirit, You fill us with a joy that
the world can’t touch and darkness can never steal!
Through the Father’s love, we are welcomed.
Through the Son’s sacrifice, we are forgiven.
Through the Spirit’s gift, we live in the joy of the kingdom.
Thanks be to God! Amen.
